Biography:

Alvin Einar Moe was born in Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota on August 5, 1920, to Hans Ragnvald and Mathilda Augusta Hage Moe.  He married Edna Lydia Schott (m. 1942 Jermstad) in King, Washington on August 15, 1942, and he worked at the Gambles Store, 717 North 13th, Fargo, North Dakota, as a clerk in 1942 before entering the United States Army at AUS Fort Snelling, Minnesota on February 26, 1943.   Private Moe died in service on August 16, 1945, in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas, and is buried at the Riverside Cemetery, Southpark Section U, Lot 105, Fargo, North Dakota.
