Biography:

Spec. 4 Wold was born in Minot November 3, 1946. He attended school in Torning Township, Ward County, went to Minot Junior High School, and in 1953 graduated from Minot Senior High School. He was employed by a Minot construction firm as a apprentice bricklayer, and was a member of the Minot Central Labor Union. After entering the Army, Spec. 4 Wold went to Vietnam May 10, 1969. He died from burns received while manning an artillery position. Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Keith of Minot, and Eldon at home; and grandparents, Mrs. Anna Wold, Minot, and Raymond Gieser, Bismarck. He is buried in Section 19, Block 51, Lot 4 in Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot, ND.
