Registered Mountrail county. Born, Madison, Minn., Aug. 17, 1889, of Norwegian-Swedish parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Stanley on March 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company C, 1st Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to death.
