He died from a heart attack which occurred when he was hunting in Michigan.
Biography:
Funeral services are scheduled in Minot for Major Carmen P. Hultin, 34, son of Mrs. Edith Hultin, No. 1 Bowler Blk., who died at Sault St. Marie, Mich. From a heart attack which occurred when he was hunting.
He was stationed at Kinross Air Force Base in Michigan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife; a daughter, Arlene, 5, a son, Steven, 3; a sister, Mrs. George Scheltens, living in the state of California, and a brother, Pf-c Neil Hultin, stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. His father preceded him in death July 29, 1937.
Major Hultin was born Jan. 24, 1923 at Donnybrook. He was graduated from Donnybrook High School in 1940 and entered the Air Force in 1941. His marriage to the former Grace Mendez took place Oct. 9, 1948 at Nevada.
He is buried in Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
