Not a registrant, over age. Born, Denver, Colo., Sept. 24, 1880, of American parents. Occupation - auto mechanic. Enlisted at Minot on Aug. 20, 1917. Sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Served in 116th Aero Squadron, Signal Corps, Kelly Field, Texas, to Aug. 27, 1917; 637th Aero Supple Squadron, First Air Depot, to July 1, 1918; 875th Aero Repair Squadron, to death. Grades: Sergeant, Nov. 9, 1917; Private, March 18, 1918; Corporal, June 7, 1918; Sergeant, July 1, 1918; Sergeant 1st Class, Aug. 1, 1918. Overseas from Dec. 13, 1917, to death. Engagement: Offensive: St. Mihiel.
