Registered Steele county. Born, Hillsboro, D. T., May 19, 1889, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Sherbrooke on Sept. 4, 1918. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill., Served in 34th Company, 161st Depot Brigade, to death.
