Registered Cass county. Born, Kindred, N. Dak., Jan. 19, 1896, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - clerk. Inducted at Fargo on Feb. 13, 1918. Sent to Fort Leavenworth, Kans. Served in Headquarters Company, 317th Field Signal Battalion, to death.
