Biography:

David Allen Larson was drafted into the United States Army on January 20, 1969, via the Selective Service and began his tour on June 9, 1969, and had the rank of Corporal. His military occupation or specialty was Light Weapons Infantry, and he was attached to the 4th Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry, B Company.

David Larson was born on September 21, 1948, in Belcourt, Rolette County, North Dakota. He died on February 27, 1970, through hostile actions and is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Newfolden, Minnesota. He received the Purple Heart and is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, DC, name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 13w, Line 63.
