Biography:

George James Fisher was born in Dickinson, Dunn County, North Dakota on October 10, 1919, to Anton and Agnes Fisher.  He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on October 12, 1942.  Private First Class Fisher served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and was killed in action on February 15, 1945, in Luzon. He is buried Sacred Heart Cemetery, Scranton, Bowman County, North Dakota.
