Registered Stutsman county. Born, Brantford, Ont., Dec. 15, 189. Citizenship, alien. Occupation - mechanic. Enlisted at Fort Snelling, Minn., on Dec. 14, 1917. Served in Company A, 3rd Provisional Ordnance Battalion, to July 29, 1918; Supply Company, 55th Artillery, Coast Artillery Corps, to Aug. 12, 1918; 4th Company, Ordnance Repair Shop Detachment, to Feb. 8, 1919; Ordnance Repair Shops, Motor Transport Corps, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Nov. 1, 1918. Overseas from May 26, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Vesle (Champagne).
