Biography:

Guy Lowell Hagen was born in Powers Lake, Burke County, North Dakota on November 21, 1917, and was the son of Hans G and Helga Hagen. (Helga later married Ole L Holby). Guy entered the United States Army at Fort George Wright, Washington on October 9, 1939, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Technical Sergeant Hagen was killed in action on February 5, 1945, in Luzon, Philippines. He is buried in Grave 13540, Block 24, Section C, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
