Registered Divide county. Born, Drammen, Norway, Oct. 28, 1893. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Crosby on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company E, 352nd Infantry, to July 18, 1918; Company No. 3, 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 30, 1918; Company B, 313th Supply Train, to death. Overseas from Aug. 24, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Center (Alsace).
