Biography:

Registered Towner county. Born, Broadway, Va., Nov. 19, 1896, of American parents. Occupation - clerk. Inducted at Cando on April 28, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company K, 350th Infantry, to May 16, 1918; Company H, 358th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 20, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Puvenelle and Villers-en-Haye (Lorraine).
