Registered Cavalier county. Born, Norquay, Man., May 27, 1889. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Langdon on Sept. 21, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company L, 352nd Infantry, to Nov. 29, 1917; Camp Pike Infantry Training Battalion, to June, 1918; Company No. 10, Camp Pike Replacement Draft, to July 12, 1918; Company H, 23rd Infantry, to Aug. 16, 1918; Casual Company No. 4, Camp Replacement Battalion, to death. Overseas from June 22, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Marbache (Lorraine).
