Biography:

John Charles Lundin enlisted in the United States Army via Regular Service and began his tour on January 29, 1970, with the rank of Sergeant First Class. His military occupation or specialty was Armor Crewman.

John Lundin was born on February 3, 1932, in Sentinel Butte, Golden Valley County, North Dakota and lost his life on April 25, 1970, through hostile action. He is buried at Fort Riley Post Cemetery, Fort Riley, Geary County, Kansas. 

Sergeant First Class Lundin received the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart and he is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, DC, inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 11w, Line 50.
