Killed in action by hostile small arms fire in Bien Hoa, South Vietnam. 

Biography:

Jon Paris Robbins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Robbins, was killed in action February 23, 1969, in Vietnam. Jon was born November 22, 1947, in Sioux City and moved to Dickerson, North Dakota with his parents where he graduated from high school in 1966. He entered the service in June 1966 and spent 17 months in Germany before being sent to Vietnam in July 1968. Sp/5 Robbins was a member of the 56th APU Army Garrison of Long Binh Post. He moved with his parents to Wisconsin in 1966 from Dickerson, North Dakota. He is survived by his parents, four brothers Loren Robbins, his twin brothers Spc5 Roger and Spc5 Robert Robbins, both stationed in Germany, and David Robbins; plus his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Beulah Palmer of Iowa.

He is buried in Fort Howard Memorial Park - Green Bay, Wisconsin.
