Biography:

Registered Cass county. Born, Davenport, N. Dak., Aug. 27, 1890, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Fargo on Aug. 8, 1918. Sent to Camp MacArthur, Texas. Served in Company K, 9th Battalion, Infantry Replacement and Training Camp, to Sept. 18, 1918; 34th Company, Camp MacArthur, Texas, September Automatic Replacement Draft, to death. Overseas from Sept. 29, 1918, to death.
