Circumstances:

Pfc. U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam War-Pfc. Lochthowe was killed in action by artillery fire on 9-22-1967 while serving as {0311} Rifleman with Mike Co. of the 3rd Battalion of the 9th Marines of the 3rd Marine Division near Hill 881 in the area of the Khe Sanh Base Camp.

Biography:

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Donald Lochthowe of Minot, North Dakota. His wife and two children preceded him death in 1965 in an auto accident near Minot, and his younger brother, Gary, 18, died at San Diego, California of Pneumonia, and Spinal Meningitis while it was discovered three days into his basic training. He died on 10-6, 1967.

He is buried in Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot, ND
