Biography:

Michael Anton Drury was born in Adams County, North Dakota on October 31, 1923, to Cyril L Drury and Edna Hildora Burwick. He resided in Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota when he entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on April 10, 1943. Corporal Drury served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater and was killed in action on January 5, 1945, in Belgium. He is buried in Block 2, Lot 4, Grave 7, Section J-1 in St Patrick's Cemetery, Dickinson, North Dakota.
