Registered Cass county. Born, Albany, Minn., April 4, 1896, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Fargo on April 28, 1918. Served in Battery E, 338th Field Artillery, to May 16, 1918; Company M, 358th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 20, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: St. Mihiel. Defensive Sector: Villers-en-Haye (Lorraine).
