Biography:

Pius Leo Miller enlisted in the United States Army on January 21, 1970, and began his tour on June 18, 1970, with the rank of Specialist Fourth Class. His military occupation or specialty was Light Weapons Infantry, and he was attached to the Americal Division, 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry, D Troop.

Pius Miller was born on July 13, 1950, in Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota and his death was through hostile action on April 11, 1971, with his final resting place in the Union Cemetery, Mandan, North Dakota. He received the Purple Heart and is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, DC, name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 042, Line 119.
