Registered Ward county. Born, Chambersburg, Pa., April 21, 1896, of American parents. Occupation - carpenter. Inducted at Minot on March 1, 1918. Sent to Camp Greene, N. C. Served in Company C, 58th Infantry, to May 9, 1918; Headquarters Company, 58th Infantry, to death. Overseas from May 11, 1918, to death. Engagement: Offensive: Aisne-Marne.
