Registered Grand Forks county. Born, Mekinock, N. Dak., July 23, 1894, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Grand Forks on March 30, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company H, 2nd Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to death.
