Biography:

Richard B Wladyslaus Wierzchoslawski Waslaski was born in Wales, Cavalier County, North Dakota on April 7, 1925, to Stanislaw (Stanley) Frank Wierzchoslawski Waslaski and Catherine (Katie) Kiebowitz.  He entered AUS Fort Snelling, Minnesota on November 11, 1943, and served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. Private First Class Waslaski was killed in action on April 17, 1943, and received the Purple Heart.  He is buried in the United States Military Cemetery, Northern, Italy, along with having a gravesite in Langdon, Cavalier County, North Dakota.
