Biography:

Roy W. Osborn was born Chicago, Cook County, Illinois on April 28, 1914, to William Mormon Osborn and Edith Myrtle Aney. As a resident Barnes County, North Dakota he entered the United States Army at Fort Lincoln, North Dakota on June 22, 1935. He served European African Middle Eastern Theater. He married Helen Olivia Gilbertson and had one son, Paul Gordon. He died in service on June 9, 1946, at the Corozal Distrito de Panama, Corozal American Cemetery and Memorial, buried in Plot C, Row 6, Grave 30, Carozal, Canal Zone.
