Registered McLean county. Born, Odoy, Norway, June 21, 1880. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Washburn on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery E, 338th Field Artillery, to April 1, 1918; Company K, 326th Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Jan. 10, 1918. Oversesa from April 29, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Lucey and Marbache (Lorraine).
