Circumstances:

TSgt Wellington Hull was declared missing in action on a flight from Cheba, India to Kunming, China on January 26, 1944, and was officially presumed dead by the War Department on January 26, 1946. In 2011 the wreckage of TSgt. Hull's plane, missing for reasons unknown, was located at Arunachal Pradesh, India. The site is a two day trek from the nearest village. Human remains were found, but not recovered by the private party, miarecoveries.org, who found and documented the crash site. It is unknown if remains were recovered by other parties, US officials, or what the disposition of said remains are.
