FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Minot VA Clinic opens at new location Dec. 14

FARGO, N.D. (Dec. 12, 2018) – The new Minot Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is scheduled to be fully operational and open for appointments on Dec. 14, 2018.

The new Minot VA CBOC is located at Southside Plaza, 3400 South Broadway St., Minot, N.D. 58701.

Veterans should report to the new location for care beginning Dec. 14. There will be no other change or interruption in medical services to Veterans. All Veteran medical records will be transferred to the new location. Hours of operation will remain 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The new phone number is (701) 418-2600.

At 9,650 square feet, the new clinic provides nearly three times more space than the previous clinic located on Minot Air Force Base to accommodate the needs of Veterans and staff.

With the new clinic located in the heart of the city of Minot, as opposed to its previous location on Minot Air Force Base, Veterans will have an easier time accessing their care because they do not have to go through the security and paperwork process of entering a military installation.

The new clinic will feature 10 exam rooms, three consultation rooms, laboratory, and dedicated rooms for women’s health, procedures, and telehealth services. The new layout of the clinic better utilizes the Patient Aligned Care Team model which is intended to transform the way Veterans receive care. Patient Aligned Care Teams enhance Veterans’ care by providing patient-driven, proactive, personalized, team-based care focused on wellness and disease prevention, resulting in improvements in Veteran satisfaction, healthcare outcomes, efficiency, and costs.
