There has been some great strides in access to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) in North Dakota. “Healing with Hyperbarics of North Dakota” located in Fargo provides HBOT treatments and is part of these studies/pilots:

  • ND Department of Veterans Affairs grants
    • Covers any issues for HBOT treatment
    • ND Veterans study approved by ACOVA
      • Grant to 4 ND veterans
      • Up to 40 treatments
      • Income and assets not a factor
    • Submit grant application SFN 54410 through your Veteran Service Officer

  • Air or Gas Embolism
  • Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
  • Clostridal Mytosis and Myonecrosis (Gas Gangrene)
  • Crush Injury, Compartment Syndrome and other Acute Traumatic Ischemias
  • Decompression Sickness
  • Arterial Insufficiencies
  • Exceptional Blood Loss (Anemia)
  • Intracranial Abscess
  • Necrotizing Soft Tissue Infections
  • Osteomyelitis (Refractory)
  • Delayed Radiation Injury (Soft Tissue and Bony Necrosis)
  • Compromised Grafts and Flaps
  • Acute Thermal Burn Injury
  • Idiopathic Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss
