The Toppers car club, established in 1953, is a non-profit club which hosts the West Fargo “Cruise Night” every third Thursday during the summer months and the annual “Rod and Custom Car show” every spring at the West Fargo Veterans Arena.

Richard Barnes the current president of “Toppers” presented ND Veterans Commissioner Lonnie Wangen with the check at last week’s cruise night. Commissioner Wangen was on the air with Jay Thomas discussing service to veterans in ND when the check was presented. “It was a very generous and appreciated donation” said Wangen. “This money will help a lot of our veterans who ‘fall through the cracks’ in the system and have nowhere else to turn in an emergency situation” he stated.

The Impact-Support our Veterans Fund is a non-profit 501-3C set up to support the emergency needs of North Dakota Veterans and their eligible dependents with urgent unmet needs such as healthcare, dental issues, dentures, glasses, hearing aids, housing, economic recovery, transportation to healthcare, and other emergency needs. 100% of the donations made to this fund are available for the benefit of veterans. This is due to the Dakota Medical Foundation and the Impact foundations generosity in absorbing the fund fees along with the North Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs ability to process the grant requests.
