Registered Pierce county. Born, Mashta, Syria, Dec. 10, 1889. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Rugby on April 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 30, 1918; Battery D, 338th Field Artillery, to May 15, 1918; 90th Division, Camp Travis, to May 23, 1918; Company L, 358th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 20, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: St. Mihiel. Defensive Sectors: Puvenelle and Villers-en-Haye (Lorraine).
