Registered Richland county. Born, Colfax, N. Dak., Dec. 12, 1890, of Swedish-Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Wahpeton on Sept. 4, 1918. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill. Served in 161st Depot Brigade, to death.
