Registered Towner county. Born, Dortmund, Germany, Dec. 25, 1889. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Cando on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 12th Company, 3rd Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to death.
