Accidentally killed by passenger train, in France, on March 22, 1919.
Remains returned to U. S. on July 7, 1922, and consigned to James Laughlin, Grand Forks, N. Dak. (place of burial not given).
Name included on the All Veterans Memorial at State Capitol in Bismarck ND.
