Registered Grand Forks county. Born, Grand Forks, D. T., Sept. 16, 1889, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Grand Forks on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 42nd Company, 11th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 18, 1918; Battery D, 40th Field Artillery, to death.
