Registered Burke county. Born, Logan, Iowa, April 17, 1888, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bowbells on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 45th Company, 12th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 18, 1918; Supply Company, 40th Field Artillery, to death.
