He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon with 3 campaign stars, Pre-Pearl Harbor and the Philippine Liberation ribbons.
