Biography:

Walter J. Henning was born on July 31, 1925. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on June 7, 1944 at the age of 18 and is now buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota
