Circumstances:

George Manning was the flight engineer #41-0003 that departed on May 11th, 1943 from Atkinson Field in British Guyana, destined for Belem Brazil. The plane disappeared leaving no evidence to lead to its position, failing to reach its destination. Reports of parachute sightings were received, but the search was concluded after an extensive 30 day search without a lead, the crew was declared dead.
