Biography:

Jack James Sidener was born in Lansford, Bottineau County, North Dakota on May 28, 1923, to Roy T. Sidener and Helen Marjorie Helply.  He attended Minot State University and enlisted in June 1942 and entered the United States Marine Corp in Minot, North Dakota on January 11. 1944. He married Eileen Margaret Swan and had four children. First Lieutenant Sidener served the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He died on June 8, 1956, as the result of a car accident and is buried at Rosehill Memorial Park in Minot, North Dakota.
