Stanley J. Julisan

Biography:

When Stanley Joseph Julison was born on 28 January 1918, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, United States, his father, Gustav August Julison, was 51 and his mother, Marian Scherer, was 40. He lived in Grand Forks, Grand Forks, North Dakota, United States for about 15 years. He entered the US Navy Minneapolis on September 23, 1943, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He died on 15 June 1944, at the age of 26 in Oahu, and was buried in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, United States

Earl F. Jones

Biography:

Earl Franklin Jones was born in York, Benson County, North Dakota on April 10, 1917, to Ella Catharyn Jones.  He became a resident of Edmore, Ramsey County, North Dakota and he entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on November 11, 1942. Private Jones served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and died in service on January 7, 1945, in New Hebrides. He is buried in Plot N, Site 945, National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Kenneth G. Johnston

Biography:

S. Sgt. Kenneth G. Johnston, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Johnston of Columbus and husband of Mrs. Isabelle Johnston, formerly of Kenmare, now of Detroit, Mich., was killed on Pelelieu Island, October 26, 1944. He had been in the service since June 1942. He also leaves an infant son, Ronald and three brothers, one of whom is Cpt. Leslie in the service at Fort Lewis, Washington.

Willard R. Johnson

Biography:

Willard R. Johnson was born on September 11, 1924 in North Dakota. He was the son of Carl O. Johnson and Emma M. Haugen Johnson. Willard served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 19, 1944 at the age of 20 and is now buried in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Hannaford, Griggs County, North Dakota
