Starting Salary: $6,067Addiction Counselor II - Requires a bachelor's degree in Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling or Psychology, Licensure as an Addiction Counselor (LAC) by the ND Board of Addition Counseling Examiners, and two years of experience as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. A master's degree in one of the majors listed above will substitute for one year of experience. Direct Care Associates provide direct service to the elderly and/or disabled individuals in their home to enable them to continue to safely reside in their home/community.
